I just found by chance your weevil on the internet, which I determined in inquiry #3449 on kerbtier.de as Datonychus cf. arquatus.

Obviously, you've been seeking also other advise regarding this specimen and František Neuschl determined it as Microplontus campestris.
This is definitely wrong. Please have a look at the white scales around the scutellum: In Microplontus they form a V-shape, like an arrow-head,
whereas in Datonychus the form a "T", which is the case in your specimen. If your search pictures of the two species on the net, you will see
the difference.

To je v poriadku. Ja som rád za každý Tvoj komentár. Bez nich by som nemal určených kopec chrobákov. Nič sa predsa nestalo. Takýmito poznámkami sa všetci posúvame vždy o krok ďalej.
