Thallus: lupeňovitý, ružice 10-20 cm, tvorené početnými hustými zaoblenými lalokmi 5-20 mm, svetlo až sivohnedými, za vlhka zelenkastými, zospodu bledo hnedé, pripojené vo viacerých bodoch, bez rhizin
Pycnidia: početné, zanorené
Apothecia: perithecia 0,2-0,5 mm, zanorené, hruškovité až guľovité, tmavohnedé ostioly na povrchu lalokov
Reakcie: negatívne
Substrát: na kremičitých, občas zaplavovaných skalách na brehoch riek a potokov
