Poznámka / Zaujímavosti:
Thallus: kôrovitý, tenký, zrnitý, šedo belavý, niekedy nenápadný
Apothecia: početné, vypuklé až guľovité 0,3-0,8 mm, ružovo hnedé až tmavo hnedé, prípadne černasté
Reakcie: negatívne
Substrát: na machoch a rastlinných zvyškoch na vápnitých substrátoch a kôre stromov
Podobná Bacidia bagliettoana môže rásť na rovnakých lokalitách, no má početnejšie apothecia, nie guľovité a vždy čierne, tiež rozdielne spóry
